General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has warned his ‘sons’ against marrying a lady who cannot cook.
Adeboye tweeted on Monday in a series he titled ’78 Quotes’ ahead of his 78th birthday on March 2.
“My sons, don’t marry a lady who cannot cook. She needs to know how to do chores and cook because you cannot afford to be eating out all the time,” he wrote.
In another tweet, he said: “My sons, don’t marry a girl who is worldly. If you do, you have carried what you’ll worship for the rest of your life.”
The RCCG leader was recently in the news when he revealed that he asked one of his ‘sons’ to sack his secretary whom he was seemingly crushing on.
“One of my sons once told me that he was always excited to resume in the office every Monday because he would get to see his secretary again. I told him to fire her immediately. Nothing and no one is worth your marriage,” he had said.
