Actress Doyin Kukoyi has called out the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) over alleged fraud after missing her hajj flight.
Doyin in an Instagram live session on Wednesday, July 6, accused the commission of defrauding her and others of over three million naira which she claimed was collected as their flight ticket.
Doyin said her visa to travel for the 2022 hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia came out on Saturday but she and others have been at the airport trying to board, only to be told that the express has been closed and the commission would provide a rescue flight.
The media personality said she waited and was told to come to Abuja on Monday, July 4 after paying a huge sum of money again but she did not get a boarding pass.
“Collecting money and not doing the right thing, we paid over three million naira. I needed to do this so that everyone will know what is going on, we have been here since morning, telling us there is a rescue flight.
“National Hajj Commission you have defrauded us, we did not go through the back door, some of the general’s wives were just coming at night and they allowed them. Nigerians this is what they are doing to us,” Doyin lamented.
Speaking further, Doyin said called on the pilgrims’ board to come to their aid, claiming that the chairman of the board sneaked out through the back door to the aircraft to attend the Hajj event.
