Mavin Music act, Dr. Sid, is expecting a second child, his wife, Simi, has announced.
A pregnant Simi posted a video of their daughter, Sidney, touching showing her belly on Instagram on Monday.
“Sidney is going to be a big sister come fall by God’s grace! Feeling very blessed (& a little sick)Thank you Lord, thank you for your prayers & well wishes! The Esiri household can’t wait for our bundle of joy,” she wrote.
Her husband too joked that he has scored a goal.
The ‘Surulere’ singer and Simi got married in 2014.
They tied the knot at the Ikoyi Baptist Church in Lagos, with a grand celebrity-studded reception held at the Oriental Hotels in Lekki.
There were rumours last year that the marriage was set to hit the rocks with a picture on Simi’s Instagram account showing she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring.
The couple, however, attended Fatima Dangote’s wedding this year and made sure they took pictures together to dismiss talks of their marriage hitting the rock.
