Simi Esiri, estranged wife of singer, Sidney Onoriode Esiri, popularly known as Dr Sid, has confirmed they are moving forward with divorce plans, while debunking rumours that she was physically abusive to the singer.
In a lengthy post on Instagram on Sunday, the 33-year-old publisher of Lifestyle magazine, Schick, cleared the air on several issues regarding the breakdown of her marriage to the singer whom she married in 2014.
She described rumours that she had been physically abusive and had prevented him from seeing their daughters as “incredibly false”, adding that she would no longer stomach attempts to exploit the situation for click baits.
Simi thanked her fans for their support while asking that her wishes for privacy be respected.
Dr Sid is yet to comment publicly on the matter.
Simi is a lawyer and fitness fanatic. Her marriage to the singer produced two daughters, Sarah and Sidney.
