Actress Ebele Okaro has announced the death of her mother.
The 58-year-old made the announcement in an Instagram post on Saturday where she shared a photo of her mum.
“My beautiful mother, mentor, twin sister and guardian is gone. May her gentle beautiful soul rest in perfect peace,” she wrote.
Fellow celebrities and fans consoled her in the comment section of the post.
Ebele Okaro was born on January, 19, 1964 in London and raised in Enugu, Nigeria.
She began acting while attending the Santa Maria Primary School and continued while at Nsukka’s Queen of the Holy Rosary Secondary School.
Initially she began studies in education at the University of Calabar, Cross River State, but later discovered her passion for the dramatic arts and she earned a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts.
Ebele’s mother was a television producer and her father, an engineer.
