The company that made the bespoke agbada Ebuka Obi-Uchendu wore to the traditional wedding of Banky W and Adesua Etomi in 2017 has donated another with the same design to an auction taking place on Thursday, April 5.
The auction is organised by Change-a-Life, the humanitarian organisation founded in 2002 by media entrepreneur, Funmi Iyanda.
A statement by Change-a-Life says the tailoring company, Ugo Monye, “has donated this exact style in another colour to us for our auctioning event.”
Other iconic fashion pieces generously donated by celebrities will be auctioned at the event holding at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Proceeds from the auction will be used the fund the education of students in the Change-a-Life programme which has provided for over 150 women and children since inception.
