Five persons have recovered from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Edo State and have been discharged.
Governor Godwin Obaseki stated this on Friday, saying the patients tested negative twice for COVID-19.
“I am pleased to announce that 5 of the confirmed cases in #EdoState have now tested negative twice for #Covid_19. They have thus been discharged,” he wrote on Twitter.
“This bolsters our resolve to defeat this common enemy, as we roll out more measures to check the spread of #Covid_19,” the governor added.
Edo State last recorded a COVID-19 case on Tuesday.
