Musician Eedris Abdulkareem has delivered a direct message to Seyi Tinubu on behalf of Nigerians, criticising the government’s handling of the country’s challenges.
The 51-year-old released a new diss track titled ‘Tell Your Papa’, seemingly in response to Seyi Tinubu’s recent boast that his father, President Bola Tinubu, is the greatest president in Nigeria’s history.
The controversy began when Seyi Tinubu made the remark while addressing a youth gathering in Adamawa State last month, sparking widespread debate.
In his track, Abdulkareem took aim at Seyi, accusing the president’s son of being out of touch with the struggles Nigerians are facing, from economic hardship to insecurity.
“Seyi, tell your papa country hard. Tell your papa people dey die. Tell your papa this one don pass jagajaga,” Abdulkareem raps.
He continues, “Seyi, how far? I swear your papa no try. Too much empty promises. On behalf of Nigerians, take our message to him; kidnappers dey kill Nigerians.”
Abdulkareem also challenges Seyi’s privileged lifestyle, pointing out the disconnect between the president’s family and the realities faced by ordinary Nigerians.
“Seyi, try travel by road without your security make you feel the pains of fellow Nigerians. You dey fly private jets, insecurity no be your problem,” he adds.
