Former presidential spokesman Doyin Okupe has alleged that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has stormed his house without warrant.
Mr Okupe in a message on Twitter on Saturday wrote that operatives of the EFCC stormed his home in Ilupeju, Lagos State asking him to follow them without warrant or invitation letter.
“Efcc just stormed my house in Ilupeju Lagos asking me to follow them. No letter. No letter of IV no warrant. Saturday!,” Okupe wrote.

In follow-up tweets, Okupe wrote that the operatives had left on the promise that he would report at their office on Monday.
He added that he is being accused of cybercrime.

Okupe was quizzed by the EFCC in 2016 for N162 million which he allegedly received from the office of the former national security adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
He was also questioned on some money he was said to have received from Chanchaga Local Government Area of Bauchi State few days to the Peoples Democratic Party’s primary election in 2014 and the general elections in 2015.
