Actress and filmmaker Ego Boyo has been appointed as one of the board members of the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant, days after it was announced that her colleague Rita Dominic has taken over the pageant from her husband Fidelis Anosike.
This was made known in a statement shared on Miss Nigeria’s official Instagram account on Tuesday.
The statement read: “MEET THE NEW MISS NIGERIA BOARD MEMBER. EGO BOYO, an accomplished actor, film producer, and creative entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the industry, is the founder and Managing Director of Temple Productions and Temple Media, a premium, award-winning media content production firm in Nigeria.
“Her dedication extends to various impactful roles, including Founder and trustee of Tempio Media Advocacy and Chair of the Advisory board for the Lagos Fringe Theatre Festival.

“Ego Boyo’s passion for education and social impact is further evident as a non-executive director on the board of Lagos Preparatory and Secondary School, Ikoyi, and as a member of the governing board of the Mirabel Center, Nigeria’s first sexual assault referral centre.

It was announced on Saturday that The Audrey Silva Company (TASC), a company Rita Dominics co-owns with filmmaker Mildred Okwo, has over the organisation of the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant from Folio Communications, owned by the actress’ husband Fidelis Anosike.
