Actress and filmmaker Ego Boyo has celebrated her dad Augustine Nnamani on the latter’s posthumous birthday.
The former president of the International Women’s Society, Nigeria posted her late father’s photos on Instagram on Thursday, September 1.
Although her father’s birthday was August 8, Ego Boyo celebrated him on September 1.
She wrote: “Posthumous birthday dad.”
On June 19, Ego also penned down a lovely message to her dad to celebrate him on Father’s Day.
Remembering my Father today and I am thankful for the foundation he gave us.
She wrote: “I appreciate all the love, care, and the time he spent with us his family talking, listening, laughing…For the total support and encouragement, he gave us all, and for teaching us life’s most valuable lessons.
“Lessons we now pass on to our own children. He was our rock and our protector. I am so proud to be his daughter. Augustine Nnanna Nnamani. SAN, JSC, CON. Happy Father’s day to the best girl Dad.”
Augustine Nnamani was a former justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, he was appointed on August 15, 1979, and was on the court for 11 years. Prior to the appointment, he was Attorney General of the Nigerian Minister of Justice.
