Actress and filmmaker Ego Boyo has faulted the management of Lead British International School in Abuja over the bullying of a female student by another student.
Two videos showing the student being manhandled circulated on the internet in the early hours of the day.
In one of the videos, the victim was seen being slapped repeatedly by another female student while asking “Who broke my heart?”
In another video, the victim was seen sitting next to a male classmate who was heard saying spoilt her relationship”.
Reacting in a post on her X account on Tuesday, Ego inquired if the school had an anti bullying policy and why the management waited till public outcry before reacting.
She wrote: “That video, painful to see that poor child being repeatedly slapped by a fellow student. hope she gets help.
“So the school has no anti bullying policy? No way of reporting? They waited for people to report to the authorities? Hope parents make a big stink about this.”
Meanwhile, Lead British International School in a statement said it has begun investigating the bullying of the female student.
