Actress Ekene Umenwa has shared a message of appreciation to everyone who supported her throughout her pregnancy journey.
Umenwa posted series of photos on Wednesday, featuring herself still pregnant, alongside her husband, both dressed in matching black outfits.
In the caption, she wrote, “The best part of us,” and continued with a message of gratitude:
“To everyone who stood by me through this journey, may God bless and protect you all. Amen. To my husband, @kleanson, thank you for everything.”
She also extended her thanks to those in the United States who made life easier for her, and to all her fans who supported her during her hospital stay.
“I love you all. In short, we are one family forever,” she added.
This comes after Umenwa’s announcement on Monday of the birth of her first child with movie producer Ifeanyi Ogbodo.
The actress marked the occasion with a Virgin Mary-inspired post on Instagram, showcasing her maternity shoot where she was dressed as the Virgin Mary.
In her post, Umenwa expressed her gratitude to God for guiding her through the pregnancy. She also revealed that the choice of attire for the shoot was inspired by a vision she received.
