Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has announced that the state’s second coronavirus patient has been discharged.
Mr Fayemi said late Thursday on Twitter that the patient was discharged from the state’s Infectious Disease Hospital after testing negative twice to COVID-19.
He thanked the team for “a job well done”, adding that the job was not finished.
The state had on March 31 released its index coronavirus patient.
Ekiti currently has no COVID-19 case following the release of the second patient.
