Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Monday bowed to greet Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the South West Governors’ Forum zonal meeting in Lagos.
Mr Sanwo-Olu, host of the meeting, received each of the governors on arrival.
The Lagos governor was accompanied by his deputy, Obafemi Hazmat, to receive Governors Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Ademola Adeleke (Osun) and Oyebanji (Ekiti) at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
Noticeably, Oyebanji, who assumed office on October 16, 2022, bowed after alighting from his vehicle and receiving a handshake from Sanwo-Olu who is serving his second term.
Hamzat bowed to receive a handshake from the Ekiti governor.
The meeting by the South-West Governors’ Forum which started around noon addressed issues affecting the zone and Nigeria as a whole.
At the meeting, the governors chose Sanwo-Olu as chairman of the forum to replace the late former governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu.
