Former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu on Thursday celebrated his wife Nwanneka as she clocked 54.
The 58-year-old tweeted saying he had drawn strength from her during difficult times.
Senator Ekweremadu prayed that his wife would continue to show him, the family and humanity love.
“HBD to my lovely wife, my right hand woman, mother of my children, Achara Ugo, Lady Nwanneka Ekweremadu, PhD,” he wrote.
“I thank God for bringing us together. You’ve been a great source of strength, working with me every step of the way, through thick and thin, to be whatever I am today May the good Lord continue to bless, keep, and inspire you as you continue to do what you know best: showering love on me, the family, and humanity.
“Again, congratulations and happy birthday, Achara Ugo Ikeoha.”
Mrs Ekweremadu has bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees which she acquired during her time at Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu; University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Ebonyi State University.
She taught at Federal Government College Enugu and Federal Government College Appo, Abuja before joining the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.
