Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Monday rode on a train with his kids in what has become a tradition with him.
Pictures from the ride were shared on Twitter via the governor’s official account.
They show the 57-year-old and the children in a VIP cabin and alighting at the train station.

This is not the first time the former Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister will be spotted on a train.
He was spotted with his aides on the Abuja-Kaduna train on April 21 and on another occasion he was seen serving snacks and drinks to passengers on the train.
El-Rufai was recently also recently seen in the economy class of a flight from Abuja to Lagos.
Upon becoming governor on May 29, 2015, the Ahmadu Bello University graduate of quantity surveying announced he and his deputy were taking a pay cut, donating 50 percent of their salaries and allowances pending an improvement in the state’s fiscal situation.
He also launched the school feeding program and abolished the collection of fees and levies in public primary and junior secondary schools in Kaduna.
