Former governor of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai has trolled his successor Governor Uba Sani with pictures of refuse allegedly found in Kaduna.
El-Rufai on Wednesday shared a post by one X user Imran Oluwafemi mocking Sani.
Oluwafemi, who describes himself in his bio as a political strategist and mentee of el-rufai, alleged in a post on July 8 that Kaduna was filled with refuse.
“They thought we were kidding when we said that in just a few months, Governor Uba Sani had changed Kaduna completely. This is the type of change we are getting from the best Governor in Nigeria,” he wrote.
The former governor commented on the post, saying: “From God we all came, and to Him we shall all return.”
His post has sparked debates on social media.
El-Rufai is facing allegations of misappropriating N423 billion from Kaduna State House of Assembly, with backing from Sani.
Sani and El-Rufai fell out after the former took over last year.
Earlier, El-Rufai’s son Bashir wrote on X that nobody is too big to be voted out of power by the people.
The younger El-Rufai warned that an upset could happen in the 2027 general elections without any consequences.
“Nobody is too big to be elected out of office by the people. It will happen & wallahi nothing will happen. So forget all these intimidations flying up and down. Let us be patient.
“Even the IMF & World Bank no go save una that time. Political strategist una. That one na for Lagos,” he said.
His post has raised concerns that El-Rufai may have fallen out with President Bola Tinubu as well.
