Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has hit the road to visit the deposed emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II.
Mr El-Rufai tweeted on Friday to say he was on his way to see Sanusi who is on exile in Awe, Nasarawa State.
The governor has showered political appointments on the deposed monarch just days after he was dethroned.
El-Rufai first named Sanusi into the board of Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA) as vice-chairman.
He followed it up with another appointment of the former Central Bank of Nigeria governor as chancellor of Kaduna State University (KASU).
