Bashir El-Rufai and his brother Bello El-Rufai, sons of the former governor of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai have reacted to an article written by The Nation columnist Sam Omatseye.
The columnist made a mockery of El-Rufai in a Monday publication in The Nation over the allegation that he mismanaged a loan of N423 billion while he was governor.
He also tackled Bello over a statement he made about him.
Reacting to the article on X, Bashir wrote, “Shameless, bastard, old men. All of you & all your useless paymasters.”
In another post, he called Omatseye a “common stooge”.
“Your family is the shameless one, who are they? You are a common stooge sent to write terribly written articles. Wtf are you?
“The man is here, he is defending himself, he has ignored you people, yet you still can’t stop shaking before going to sleep because he troubles you,” he wrote.
Bashir challenged the journalist to unlock the comment section of his X account.
“I see you are being demolished in the quotes. Open comment section if e sure for you na,” he said.
Bello, who was mentioned in the article, simply wrote, “Pain or Sam is that you? I have work to do. Advise you to do the same.”
The article adds to the speculations that El-Rufai has fallen out with President Bola Tinubu who initially considered him for ministerial position.
