Hadiza El-Rufai, wife of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has thrown a jibe at Arsenal FC of England on Twitter.
Mrs El-Rufai, in her usual English Language lessons, wrote late Wednesday that her followers should not confuse ‘invincible’ with ‘invisible’.
The first lady used the words in different sentences comparing Liverpool FC which is top of the English Premier League table and Arsenal which currently sits ninth on 40 points.
She wrote: “Don’t confuse Invincible with Invisible. Invincible: Too powerful to be defeated. Invisible: Unable to be seen.
“At the start of this season, Liverpool appeared invincible. The way things are going Arsenal may soon be invisible on the list of EPL clubs.”
Arsenal lost 3-0 away to Manchester City on Wednesday night as the Premier League returned after nearly three months shutdown over the coronavirus pandemic.
Goals from Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden sealed victory for City.
