The Lagos State Government has ordered schools in the state to re-open after the general elections were postponed by one week.
According to a directive of the state’s Deputy Governor, Oluranti Adebule, the Director General of Education Quality Assurance, Ronke Soyombo, in a statement on Saturday, said that schools are to resume on Monday, February 18, and close on Friday, February 22.
After Presidential and National Assembly elections on February 23, schools are to resume on Monday, February 25.
Also, schools are to close on Friday, March 8, for the governorship, state houses of assembly and FCT polls on Saturday, March 9.
Schools are then to resume for normal activities on Monday, March 11.
“All public and private schools, school leaders and school associations should take note and adhere strictly,” the statement read.
