Managing director and chief executive officer of Transcorp Hotels Plc Dupe Olusola has said she is “embracing change” following the appointment of Uzo Oshogwe as the company’s MD/CEO effective January 1, 2025.
Mrs Olusola will be stepping down from her role after four years.
In an Instagram Story post on Monday night, Olusola congratulated Oshogwe, noting that she was excited for her.
“Congratulations, Uzo. Excited for you…new journey…embracing change,” she wrote.
The hotel held its end-of-the-year party on Monday.
Olusola shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday, describing the hospitality brand as a great place to work.
“Immense gratitude is all I have…Wow, God has been so good. 2024 has been great. Transcorp Hotels, we made it! We did it and it’s only going to be bigger and bigger on all sides!
“Grateful for love, grateful for growth. Great place to work? THP! The best work family,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Oshogwe is currently MD/CEO of Afriland Properties Ltd, an investment and development company. Her career includes leadership roles at United Bank for Africa Plc and Accenture UK.
She holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State; an MSc in information systems design from the University of Westminster in London and a professional certificate in real estate management from Harvard Business School in the USA.
