President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, has led a delegation to pay a condolence visit to the children of Onyeka Onwenu.
The delegation, which included members of the Board of Trustees and senior Guild members, visited the family on Sunday to offer their support.
Emeka Rollas shared pictures from the visit on Instagram page on Tuesday, extending his sympathy to the bereaved family.
In his post, he wrote, “Two days ago, I led a delegation of some of the Board of Trustees and senior Guild members to pay a condolence visit to the children of the late Onyeka Onwenu.
“The Actors Guild of Nigeria sympathises with the family during this moment of grief and prays that God grants Onyeka eternal rest in His bosom.”
The delegation included Emmanuel Ogugua and Sony Mcdon, Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Trustees, as well as Ebele Okaro, Ronnie Diko, Abubakar Yakubu (National Secretary of the Guild), Ifeoma Okeke, Arinze Okonkwo and Mouth Piece.
It is worth noting that Onyeka Onwenu, a renowned singer, songwriter, broadcaster, and actress, passed away on July 30 after performing at the 80th birthday celebration of Emzor Pharmaceuticals founder, Stella Okoli, in Lagos.
