Emir of Daura, Umar Farouk Umar, has been discharged from the Intensive Care Unit of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Kastina State.
The monarch spent nine days in the hospital following his admission on May 5.
He was discharged on Thursday and driven into his residence at Brahimo Housing Estate, Katsina.
Daura is the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, recently shut down the emir’s palace to control the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the entire Daura Local Government Area.
