Emir of Daura Umar Faruq has lost his younger brother Abdullahi Umar in an auto crash along Katsina/Daura Road.
Umar died in the road accident on Sunday along with his two friends.
Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari arrived in Daura on Monday to condole with the emir over the loss.
He was accompanied on the trip by his special adviser on higher education Bashir Ruwangodiya among other top government officials.
The governor was received at the emir’s palace by the emir, the state attorney-general Ahmed El-Marzuq, and Ambassador Adamu Sa’idu.
Masari also visited the residences of the other two deceased persons and condoled with their families.
