Emir of Kajuru Alhassan Adamu and 10 others have been kidnapped by suspected bandits in Kajuru town, police said on Sunday.
Kaduna police spokesman Muhammad Jalige told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the second class traditional ruler and the other victims were kidnapped at his palace.
Although he did not give details, Mr Jalige said the police are on the trail of the suspects.
“We have deployed our men to rescue them,” he said.
