Mental health advocate Dr. Emmanuel Ahmadu has achieved a milestone, earning a distinction from the London Graduate School in the United Kingdom.
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, Ahmadu disclosed his accomplishment, adding that he was also inducted as a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) in Nigeria.
The dual honours, which included a formal induction ceremony and certification workshop held in Lagos and the UK on November 26, celebrated Ahmadu’s exceptional contributions to mental health advocacy and consultancy.
Despite writing the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) 17 times due to family instability, he rose to prominence as a mental health advocate and accomplished professional based in the United States.
He emphasised that his new accolades would enhance his ability to address mental health challenges globally, particularly among Gen Z, teenagers and adolescents.
“My Fellowship, the highest grade of membership in the Institute of Management Consultants, will position me as a thought leader equipped to provide innovative strategies in tackling depression and suicide.
“This recognition is not just a personal milestone but a step forward in the global fight against mental health crises. It’s a call to action to innovate solutions that inspire hope and resilience,” he said.
