Actress Empress Njamah has given an update on her friend and colleague Ada Ameh’s mental illness.
Qed.ng reported that Ada Ameh revealed she was battling mental health issues in an Instagram post on June 15.
The actress, who lost her only child in 2020, further stated that she has been sued over her inability to deliver on a job.
She said: “Everything is going to be fine, I have an issue right now but it is taking my life but I no go die. We would get over it. I was given a job but I didn’t do it because I have mental health issues.
“Would people understand when you have mental issues? No they wouldn’t. They are slamming me with a bill, suing me. It’s okay”.
Updating fans and colleagues in an Instagram post on Thursday night, Empress uploaded a video of herself and Ada, thanking everyone for their support.
“All we can say is thanks for all your prayers, encouragement, love, sweet words, advice, calls, messages…we can only keep PRAYING.
I didn’t ignore all your tags, I have been babysitting (or should I say adult sitting) according to @adaameh IT IS WELL, WHO NO GO NO KNOW… it will pass,” she wrote.
