Actress Empress Njamah could not hold back her tears on Tuesday while setting up condolence register for her best friend Ada Ameh.
In the video posted on social media, Empress is seen weeping over the death of Ada.
Ada Ameh’s death was announced on Monday. She died on Sunday night in Delta State.
Shortly after the announcement, fans took to Twitter to worry about Empress who stood by Ada when she lost her only child and supported the deceased during her mental health challenge.
Before her death, Ada battled with mental health. She revealed she had been dealing with mental illness following the death of her loved ones.
She spoke about her ordeal in an interview with media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown on Your View TV show published on Friday, July 1.
According to The Johnsons actress, she had been depressed for years and her daughter Ladi’s death made it worse because Ladi was her best friend, and sister and it felt like her world had crumbled.
Ada Ameh visited her daughter’s grave with Empress Njamah last year to mark the first anniversary of her death.
Ladi died on October 20, 2020, in Abuja following an unsuccessful surgery. She was buried in Gwarinpa, Abuja on October 31.
