Actress Empress Njamah has hosted her first show two days after breaking down in tears at the burial of her best friend and colleague Ada Ameh.
The show titled 40 and Fabulous reality TV show was held at the Transcop Hilton Abuja on Sunday, August 28.
The 41-year-old who wore a black outfit posted highlights from the event on Instagram on Thursday.
Captioning the post, Empress noted that hosting the show was not easy following the death and burial of her best friend. She said she never thought she could host the show but she did it with the support of her friends.
She wrote: “A DAY AFTER PUTTING MY DEAR FRIEND INTO THAT HOLE, I never thought I could still host the grand finale of @40andfabulousnaija but this is me.
“I don’t know how did it BUT WE MADE IT… it’s only Normal to break down again @mother_model you never gave up on me but instead supported me n gave me strength….THANK YOU EVERYONE WEY CARRY MY MATTER FOR HEAD.”
In another video she posted, the actress wrote: “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN IT’S YOUR HOST FOR @40andfabulousnaija TV REALITY SHOW GRAND FINALE THANKS FOR ALL THE SWEET WORDS,STRENGTH, AND ENCOURAGEMENT, MY ENERGY WAS OFF THE HOOK, WE NAILED IT ON SUNDAY.”#
Ada Ameh died on Sunday, July 17 in Warri Delta State, she was buried on August 26 in her hometown in Benue State.
