Despite threats by the police against memorial protests in honour of those who died during the #EndSARS protest in Lagos last year, campaigners have begun circulating flyers on social media ahead of the march.
The flyers show that the memorial protests would begin with a Jumat service on Friday, October 15 at Jumaat Suadr Central Mosque, Ojota, Lagos.
This will be followed by traditional rites on Saturday, October 16 at the New Afrika Shrine in Agidingbi, Lagos.
A church service will be held at Logos Christian Centre in Oregun, Lagos on Sunday, October 17.
Memorial protests will also hold in major cities like Ibadan, Port Harcourt and Abuja.
An event is also billed for the Lekki toll gate, Lagos on October 20.
Police have been urging parents to stop their children from partaking in the memorial protests, saying the state is still suffering from the havoc wrecked by hoodlums who hijacked the protests.
But the campaigners hinge their resolve on the shooting of protesters by security operatives on October 20 at Lekki toll gate.
