Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has called out the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu over an alleged assault on a taxi driver.
During the #EndSARS memorial protest on Wednesday, a taxi driver was allegedly attacked by some police officers with pepper spray.
Reacting to the claim in an Instagram post on Wednesday, the actor brought to the attention of the governor, the incident that occurred.
According to him, the governor needs to respond to the alleged attack on the driver.
“Dear Governor, @jidesanwoolu it would be nice to get a response from you. I would rather not post that policeman’s face on my page, but the video is everywhere and I am sure you have seen it. If you can acknowledge a sketch of you online, please do same. The world saw it, we saw it. The internet never forgets. We can frame that picture too if that’s better. We await your response. Thank you sir,” he wrote.
