English sides put aside their fierce rivalry to show support for ex-Super Eagles goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme.
Ikeme retired from professional football on Friday aged 32.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderes custodian’s career was abruptly cut short by an acute leukaemia.
Ikeme spent his entire club career in England – representing nine different teams.
No wonder even clubs he had no affiliation with joined to sing his praises.
After 18 years as a Wolves player, @Carl_Ikeme has today announced his retirement from the professional game.
