Ajakaju: Beast of Two Worlds, a Yoruba film produced by actress Eniola Ajao, has made N16m 24 hours after its release in cinema.
Distribution company Filmone disclosed this in an Instagram post on Saturday, making the movie “the highest opening day for a film released in 2024”.
The good news was also shared by actor Odunlade Adekola who co-directed the film.
Actress Mercy Aigbe also congratulated Eniola on the feat on her Instagram account on Saturday.

Despite the best-dressed female controversy at the movie premiere, Eniola’s colleagues have come out in large numbers to promote the film including Dayo Amusa and Femi Adebayo who fought over the latter’s announcement of crossdresser Bobrisky as the best-dressed female.
Beast of Two Worlds features Eniola Ajao, Sola Sobowale, Bimbo Akintola, Lateef Adedimeji, Faithia Williams, Mercy Aigbe, Yinka Quadri, Juliana Olayode, Odunlade Adekola and others.
