American singer Enisa has officially released the remix of her song ‘Love Cycle’ featuring top Nigerian singer Davido.
Enisa confirmed the release of the song in posts shared to her Instagram and Twitter handles on Friday.
She captioned the posts: “Love Cycle (REMIX) is OUT NOW Worldwide.
“Thank you @davido for taking this song to the next level, you the Goat This one is for the fans, big shoutout to Africa, especially Nigeria this for you! E CHOKEEEE.”
The American had announced on Tuesday the date for the release of the song.
Enisa who fell in love with Nigeria last year has continued to identify with Nigerians.
She gained popularity in Nigeria after tweeting her solidarity for the Nigerian youths during the #EndSARS protest against police brutality in October 2020.
Replying to her tweet, a Twitter user named Stoned Shy Guy wrote: “Thanks a lot for standing with us on this…you’ve helped us with this now, we would return the favour. Trust Nigeria, your music career won’t be the same again.”
Within a few days of Enisa’s tweet, her followership on social media tripled with Nigerians making up the numbers.
In December, the American expressed more love for Nigerians who topped the chart for streaming her song ‘Love Cycle’.
“This is all you guys Love you & Nigerians you have all my respect,” she wrote.
Enisa was also given the name Eniola by her Nigerian fans in December after a Twitter poll was conducted between the names Eniola and Enitan.
Announcing that she now bears Eniola, Enisa tweeted: “The people have spoken, so here I am as Eniola for my people.”
Enisa also asked her fans who they would love her to remix her song with.
Most of her fans tagged Davido and he also replied one of them expressing his readiness to work with Enisa.
