The Nigerian entertainment industry came together on Thursday to bid farewell to the late Tosyn Bucknor at a funeral service held at Harvesters International Christian Centre in Lekki, Lagos.
The auditorium was beautifully designed in tribute to the on-air personality with a reel of her pictures playing on the main stage as guests took their seats in the congregation.
Pre-service hugs and handshakes were offered to the 37-year-old’s family.
Socialite Toke Makinwa was seen offering condolences to Tosyn’s French husband Aurelien Boyer who was dressed in a smartly tailored native attire.
Boyer also welcomed as he welcomed some of his late wife’s friends and well-wishers like Lala Akindoju, Ali Baba and Tee-A,
Opening prayers were taken and guests joined the choir in singing the opening hymn titled ‘O Lord My God’, which left some members of the congregation in tears.

Also in attendance were Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Tosin Martins, Aramide and Reekado Banks.
Boyer, in his tribute, spoke of how the renewed relationship between him and God was one of the greatest gifts he got from Tosyn.
Tosyn’s sister Funke Bucknor-Obruthe promised to take care of their mother as best as she can.
