Chief executive of PorkMoney and Porkoyum, Glory Osei, has written a lengthy response to her critics who accuse her of running ponzi businesses and maltreating her employees.
Osei was in October attacked on social media by some former employees of the company and accused alongside Muyiwa Folorunsho of fraud and maltreatment of employees.
The pair are said to be owners of Divergent Enterprise, the mother company to Landlagos, Shapeyou, 234logistics, Casual Becky, Porkoyum, Porkmoney, True Rebel and Hyberfactory.
At the time, Osei denied the allegations but added that she was responding via an “unofficial press release”.
However, she returned to Twitter on Monday to respond fully to her critics.
She began by saying that she thought of making her lengthy write-up into a book, referring to her attackers as a mob.
“One of the things that became clear to me when this whole Twitter outrage happened was just how badly people hated me. I mean. The whole thing had over 100,000 tweets and mostly not positive. How could I have affected people so negatively by being the sweetest person ever? I now know why. You are children of hate. Your parents abused you. The society abuses you. You can only respond to hate, and even though my life has its many ups and downs, I still didn’t have enough to compete in your Olympic of hate. I mean,” she wrote.
She also said: “I was called everything from a fake feminist to a fraud. Even a rapist pastor got more love than I. Is it my gender? Is it my success? Is it my youth? Is it because I am married? Or is it all of the above. The evil woman and her partner who eats her employees, how original.
“Clearly in my businesses up until now I have built an army of disgruntled former employees, some of them righteous in their anger, many not. If I had a sit down with literally any of the people who had some sh*t to say you’d see how unresolved they’d.”
