Former Big Brother Naija housemate Erica Nlewedim has knocked down an Instagram user who compared her with Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye.
An Instagram user who goes by the name Alabi on Wednesday made comparisons between both celebrities.
Responding, another user Spicy said that comparing both actresses was an insult to Bimbo.
According to Spicy Bimbo built herself from the ground while Erica made her fame through Big Brother Naija.
“This is really an insult to Bimbo. Bimbo literally built herself from the ground up as an actress. Erica went to Big Brother and producers are using her for clout.
Reacting, Erica knocked the critic for her comment. According to the 27-year-old, her hard work, acting skills and being on Big Brother Naija reality show paved the way for her.
“Don’t you ever in your life undermine my hard work. I did it all free work, low/mid-budget films, went to film school to improve.
“Do you know how many talented actors are still unknown cos the right people don’t know them? I should have sat at home waiting for magic instead of BBN? Not a lot of people are worth the response but I have set things straights since there’s this ignorance concerning BBNtalented actors. It’s a platform to show what u have been doing before a larger audience. I don’t only work hard, I work smart,” she wrote.
Erica was disqualified from the Lockdown season after an altercation with season five winner Laycon.
