Sheila Courage, the estranged wife of Davido’s logistics manager Israel DMW, has debunked rumour about her getting married.
On Friday, a video of Sheila Courage was shared by a wedding vendor on Instagram.
The video, which was also reposted on Sheila’s Instagram Story, caused a stir.
The clip showed Sheila dressed in bridal attire with an unidentified man, leading many to believe she was getting married.
She said, “I identify as a hopeless romantic because I believe everyone deserves a perfect love story.
“And I don’t care how many times you have to try. I believe it’s worth fighting for and love is worth going on any journey until you find your love story. And I’m glad to have found mine.”
Netizens were quick to offer their congratulations, thinking she was tying the knot after her short-lived union with Israel. However, Sheila took to her Instagram Story to clear the air.
To dispel the rumour, she posted a screenshot of a conversation with a fan who had congratulated her on her supposed wedding.
In her clarification, Sheila wrote: “You guys! It was a wedding shoot, not an actual wedding o. Vendors cannot be the ones to post about a wedding before the bride. Did you see me post????
“I apologise for the misunderstanding, but please, it’s a shoot. Save the congratulations and pitching for the future if you get to know of it. Thank you.”
In November 2023, Israel DMW broke the news of the end of his marriage to Sheila in an Instagram post.
He said Sheila left their home on August 8, 2023, despite his support throughout their marriage.
