Pastor Evelyn Joshua has arrived in Spain for her two-day crusade.
It is the clergywoman’s first time in Spain.
The leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) arrived at Adolfo Suarez International Airport in Madrid.
Well-wishers including children gathered at the airport to receive her. They formed a line holding the Nigerian and Spanish flags.
Full of smiles, Evelyn was greeted with gifts, flowers and traditional dance by children. She embraced and thanked them for the show of love.
Some of them carried banners with the inscription ‘Welcome, Pastor Evelyn Joshua to our nation Spain’.
Escorted by her team, Evelyn got into a waiting vehicle to where she will be residing for the crusade.
Evelyn shook hands with some of her well-wishers as her car drove off slowly.
The church posted photos and video of her arrival on its social media pages on Thursday.
The crusade, scheduled for Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29, 2023, will be held at an arena known as Pabellon Fernando Martín in Fuenlabrada in the Spanish capital of Madrid.
It is Evelyn’s first crusade outside the shores of Nigeria since taking the reins at the Lagos-based megachurch in September 2021 after the death of her husband, Prophet TB Joshua, founder of SCOAN.
Prospective participants are required to register on the website created for the crusade.
The church, in a Facebook post on April 12, called on those with health challenges to meet the SCOAN team and register before the crusade.
