Leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Pastor Evelyn Joshua has remained silent on Prophet Racine Bossou’s wedding to Ruth.
Racine and Ruth will have their wedding blessing on Valentine’s Day in the United Kingdom while the civil wedding will be held in Dakar, Senegal, Racine’s country on February 19.
QedTV had in January got hold of an invitation sent to Evelyn, requesting her presence at the wedding.
But the church’s leader, who delivered a sermon on the topic ‘A deliberate sinner’ on Sunday, February 13 at SCOAN did not confirm if she would be attending or make any reference to the wedding.
The church has not officially made any statement about the wedding since it became public.
Racine had been instrumental since the reopening of the church for regular service after its 21-month COVID-19 enforced closure on December 5, 2021.
He had delivered sermons, mass prayer sessions and spearheaded other religious activities in the church while other wisemen of the late SCOAN founder Prophet TB Joshua namely Harry, Daniel, John Chi, and Christopher have all found new paths.
Racine also helped to stabilise the church which was enmeshed in a succession crisis before Evelyn’s emergence as leader in September 2021.
However, in a statement posted on a website that was created for their wedding, Racine and his fiancée revealed they are moving on from the SCOAN.
They said: “…It was this driving force that brought us individually to Prophet TB Joshua all those years ago, a driving force that kept us with him through every trial, every test, every temptation, and the same driving force that is with us now, releasing us into our divine future.”
