Singer, Danny Young, has said that pop musician, Wizkid, can’t say he was not inspired by his feats as a teen musician.
He was providing a response to a claim by UK broadcaster, Adesope, that Wizkid was the first successful teen act in Nigeria.

said this in a post on Instagram on Wednesday.
Sharing a
snippet of Adesope’s claim and a 2006 hit song by him, Danny Young wrote: “We made
this song in 2006, it was one of d biggest songs in Africa. I was just 16. The
youngest kid Artiste/Producer at Dat time.”
“Every kid
wanted to be like me.. Even the person in question wouldn’t say I didn’t
inspire him,” he later wrote.
He added
that other artistes would come who would surpass Wizkid, Davido and other top
acts.

He alleged that
the mother of one lifted part of his 2009 song ‘Oju Tiwon’ without seeking his
permission.
Video-sharing platform, YouTube took down the video of Tiwa Savage’s song, ‘One’, in January 2019 over copyrights claims.
