Premier League club, Everton, on Friday celebrated former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, as he clocked 39.
The Merseyside side outfit posted their message on Twitter with a blue heart emoji and a Nigerian flag.

Yobo joined Everton in 2002 and was the first signing of David Moyes.
A consistent player, he and was one of only seven players in the Premier League to play every minute of every game throughout the 2006–07 season.
He left Everton for Fenerbahçe in 2012 after 220 appearances and eight goals.

Yobo played 101 games for the Super Eagles, scoring seven goals and winning the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2013.
Another Nigerian international, Alex Iwobi, currently plays for Everton.
Other Nigerians who have played for the club include Daniel Amokachi, Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Victor Anichebe.
