Super Eagles midfielder, Victor Moses, was the target of endless jeers from a section of Everton fans when Chelsea came visiting on Saturday.
Moses, 27, making his 10th Premier League appearance of the season, was constantly booed by the home faithful almost every time he came in contact with the ball.
Antonio Conte’s side were forced to return to London with just a piece of the spoils.
The Blues, who dominated proceedings from start to finish, were frustrated by the Toffees, enjoying some sort of resurgence under Sam Allardyce.
Moses, however, appeared to have stolen the spotlight from his teammates in the encounter.
The action of the home team may not be unconnected with his stint at Everton’s rivals, Liverpool.
Moses spent the 2013/14 at Anfield, where he featured 19 times under Brendan Rodgers.
And it seems the Toffees fans many not have forgiven the Nigerian for kitting for their neighbours.
Moses lasted for 81 minutes before being replaced by Davide Zappacosta on Saturday.
The stalemate means the Blues remain in third spot with 39 points after 19 games.
Everton, meanwhile, moved to 26 points, level with eighth-place Leicester City.
Both sides will square off against Brighton and West Brom respectively in their next encounters on Boxing Day.
