Former Big Brother Africa housemate Tayo Faniran has called out the organisers of the show for allegedly robbing him of his chance of winning during his season.
The 35-year-old model who was controversial during his season made the claims in a now-deleted Instagram post on Monday.
According to him, there was some foul play during the finale as he was told that he got robbed. Tayo also stated that he battled with his loss and was silenced when he tried to speak up.
“When I wake up, @mnettv @africamagic and @multichoice_group need to tell me what really happened to me on the finale /stage of BBA, I don’t want my career in the industry threatened, I just want proof and explanation coz for the past 7 years all I hear every day was that I got robbed, my pain or loss didn’t start today, but they are mentioned because since I’ve been shut up to fight back then.
“A part of me got damaged, ever since all my efforts to get back up has been so hard if I lose this case I’m willing to leave Nigeria,” he wrote in parts.
Tayo emerged as the runner-up in the ninth season of the show.
