Former governor of Kwara State Abdulfatah Ahmed has welcomed a baby boy with his wife Omolewa Ahmed.
In a tweet on Saturday, Toyin Saraki wife of a former Kwara governor and ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki congratulated the couple on the birth of their baby.
She said: “Heartiest congratulations to my Dear Sister, former Kwara First Lady @AhmedOmolewa and HE @AbdulfataAhmed on the birth of their baby boy! Sending you lots of love.”
Ahmed, 57, was governor from 2011 to 2019 after succeeding Saraki.
He was appointed commissioner for finance and economic development during the Saraki administration. Later, he was named commissioner for planning and economic development.
