Father of a former managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Nsima Ekere, has clocked 89.
Mr Ekere shared the news on Twitter on Tuesday.

“My dad just turned 89. To God alone be the glory 🙏,” he wrote.
Ekere was the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa-Ibom during the 2019 general elections.
He has chaired the Akwa Ibom State Emergency Management Agency and simultaneously as Chairman of Ibom Power Company, the power generating company owned by Akwa Ibom State.
The politician is married to Ese Nsima Ekere.
