Five oil wells are currently on fire in Ajegunle Ikorigho community, Ondo State, TheCable reports.
The affected oil wells are said to be Isan-West field, Parable field, Malu field, Ororo and Opokaba.
The fire is also said to have spread to Otumara, Ikorigho, Zion Ikorigho, Iluayo, Kendo Ayeren and Ehinmoghan-Ikorigho communities.
Ondo police spokesman, Femi Joseph, when contacted, said he was unaware of the incident.
