Prince Ajudua, friend and former lawyer of Afrobeats star Davido, has dismissed claims in a viral video suggesting the singer fathered an 11-year-old girl identified as Anu Adeleke.
The young girl, whose name is Anu Adeleke on Instagram, shared details about her life in a video posted on Sunday.
She revealed that she recently turned 11, is excelling academically, and was appointed Head Girl at a school journalist Kemi Olunloyo reportedly enrolled her in back in 2019.
Anu also mentioned her admiration for Olunloyo, expressing hope for a reunion despite losing contact with the journalist, who no longer resides in Nigeria.
She added that her Instagram account is managed by her mother and grandmother, and shared her hobbies, including singing, reading, and modeling.
“Happy New Year 2025. My mom and I run this page now after it was handed over to us by @drkemilawrence in 2020. I’m doing well in school; I am the HEAD GIRL at the same school Dr. Kemi enrolled me in 2019. Though we miss her and lost touch, we hope to reconnect soon. My report card was EXCELLENT last term. I will post it later,” she wrote.
Reacting to the video, Ajudua criticised the continued allegations against Davido, stating that the claims are unfair to both the Adeleke family and the young girl.
He revealed that two DNA tests conducted at reputable clinics had already confirmed that Davido is not the father.
“Which Davido, please? After DNA tests at not one but TWO reputable clinics (one of which Dr. Deji insisted your family choose for peace of mind) years ago, you are still doing this.
“Why? I’m never moved to comment publicly, but this is extremely unfair to both the Adelekes and the child. Please give it a rest. Once again, wish you and your family the best,” Ajudua wrote.
This isn’t the first time Davido has been accused of fathering children.
In 2023, an American woman Anita Brown made headlines with claims that the singer impregnated her, recounting their alleged encounters and targeting his wife Chioma in public tirades.
